    Happy New Year, HLJ families! We hope everyone enjoyed a restful and joyful winter break. As we welcome January, PTO is excited to kick off the new year with fresh energy, upcoming events, and continued support for our students, teachers, and school community.

    As we move into the second half of the school year, the PTO will continue working closely with staff and families to support enriching experiences for our students. More details about upcoming fundraisers, events, and ways to get involved will be shared soon—stay tuned!

    -Set up for Holiday Shop (for 2 weeks!!)

    -Lunch from Agliolo, Breakfast from Panera, and a Cocoa/Coffee Bar for teachers and staff

    -Ran the registers at Jaggy’s Gingerbread Holiday Shop!

    -Helped set up at the Commons Holiday Show and paid for DJ, lights, security, etc.

    -Distributed club payments to teachers

    -Ran Penalty Box fundraiser

    -Paid for upcoming musical script/rights

    -Submitted payments for upcoming field trips

    -Purchased iReady Incentive (icepops) for students

    -Ran a successful GRINCH Green Day!

    -Covered Monthly Subscriptions (canva, quickbooks, website, cheddar up)

    Hello Jaguar Families!

    As we wrap up 2025 and head into a season full of celebration, PTO would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing families, teachers, and staff. Your enthusiasm, volunteer hours, and endless support have helped make the first half of the school year one filled with learning, laughter, and memorable moments.

    December brings plenty of excitement to our campus! From classroom festivities to our upcoming winter activities, there’s no shortage of joy in the air. Your PTO is also busy planning for a strong start to the new year—so stay tuned for volunteer opportunities, family events, and ways to get involved in January.

    📅 December 9th and 11th – Songs of the Season at Commons Park
    Join us for two magical evenings as our students help fill Commons Park with festive music and holiday cheer—bring the whole family and enjoy the spirit of the season! More details in dojo and Facebook!

    📅 December 18th- Pajama Day: Send your students to school cozy and festive—it’s the perfect day to learn in their comfiest holiday pajamas! SCHOOL APPROPRIATE with sneakers 🙂

    📅 December 19th- Winter Field Day: Students will enjoy a fun-filled day of outdoor games and seasonal activities—a perfect way to celebrate the start of winter break!

    Hi Jaggy Families!

    Happy November! This month we’re focusing on gratitude — for our amazing teachers, students, staff, and parent community that make our school so special. Thank you for showing up, volunteering, donating, and helping us create memorable experiences for our kids. From now till the end of the year, we have A LOT of fun things happening!

    🦃 Upcoming Events & Important Dates

    📅 November 11 – STEAM Family Fun Night
    Join us for an evening of hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities! Families can rotate through fun stations and enjoy snacks and prizes.

    📅 November 24–28 – Thanksgiving Break (No School)
    Wishing all our families a safe and restful holiday filled with gratitude and togetherness!

    Looking Ahead – Jaggy’s Gingerbread House Holiday Shop

    -Helped set up and volunteer at the Book Fair to help Mrs. Torres with students.

    -Purchased iReady Incentive for Students with Jolly Times

    -Purchased prices for Bingo Night.

    -Helped organize, set up, and volunteer during Grandparent’s night. Setting backdrop, bingo classrooms and supplies, helping at book fair, selling concessions.

    Hi Jaguar Families!

    First, a huge THANK YOU for such an amazing first month of school. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year, and that’s all thanks to YOU — our families, our volunteers, and our community. 💙

    A special shoutout goes to our incredible cafeteria volunteers who have jumped in with smiles and helping hands. You’ve made a world of difference already, and we are so grateful!

    We’re also excited to kick off our Fun Fridays 🎉! These special events give our kids something extra to look forward to each week, some of the funding goes to each grade level and we’d love to welcome more volunteers to help make them run smoothly and keep the excitement alive.

    💬 What Has PTO Been Up To?

From helping with the first days of school to prepping for Book Fair and big events like Grandparents’ Night, our goal is always the same: to bring our school family together and make learning fun.

    -PTO purchased and Built Storage Boxes for recess toys, purchased recess toys

    -Cleaned up the Food Forrest and helped plant several trees and plants donated by Charmed Life and Incredible Edible Landscape

    -Hosted and sponsored the back to school social

    -Purchased iReady Incentive for Students with Jolly Times

    -Purchased paper and ink for teachers poster printer

    -Created Papa John’s Fundraiser

    – Scouted out meaningful partnerships to support our school and host more Spirit Nights.

    -Coordinated and set up another Spirt Wear Pre-Sale.

    -Bought new Popcorn bags for each Classroom to deliver popcorns on Fridays.

    Hello Jaguars!

    Sharpen those pencils, dust off the lunchboxes, and brace yourselves for another year of learning, laughter, and just a little organized chaos. The PTO is back in action and we are SO excited to welcome you all to the 2025–2026 school year!

    A special shoutout to our Kindergarten families, welcome to the Jaguar family! You’re in for a year full of adventures, growth, and memories. We can’t wait for you to feel the warmth and energy of our community. You’ll quickly see that “Jaguar Pride” isn’t just a motto, it’s a way of life.

    Meet The Teacher was a huge success! We loved meeting new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones. The love was so real that our spirit wear sold out fast!

    What’s PTO Been Up To?

    While summer gave us a chance to rest with our families, we’ve also been busy gearing up for the year:

    • Planning fundraising events
    • Packing pre-orders from our end-of-year spirit wear sale
    • Hosting Spirit Night at Papichulos!
    • Buying storage boxes for recess toys
    • Giving special gifts to our teachers & staff
    • Providing breakfast, snack carts, and toast to welcome them back
    • Providing supplies for volunteers to re-beautify around campus
    • Purchasing Agendas and Yellow Folders for each student
    • Preparing Back To School Social Event (booking food trucks and securing entertainment)
    • Providing supplies, refreshments and teacups for “Tea & Sympathy” event.
